Merced IRWMP

The Merced IRWM Region is the portion of Merced County that lies east of the San Joaquin river. The boundaries of the Merced Region are defined primarily by the surface and groundwater conditions of the area, so the region is chiefly comprised of the Merced Groundwater Basin with components of the Merced River Watershed that is north and contiguous with the Merced Groundwater Basin. The region boundaries were developed cooperatively by water management agencies in the region and approved by the state Department of Water Resources. |
